Milkbun Hamstery was established in late 2023.

I have been in the hamster hobby for almost 10 years, spending hours and hours obsessing over and chatting about hamsters on online forums in my childhood. My first hamster was a Roborovski dwarf hamster, we called her “Cupcake”. Like the Robo species is known for, she was very fast and always on the move! I had two more Robos after her, Silk and Velvet. Since then, I’ve always had a soft spot for them.

Before I decided to get into the hamster fancy, I was very involved with AKC dog shows. I show Jindos, a rare breed from South Korea. We were the first Junior Handler team in American history, and he was the third Jindo to earn his championship in AKC history. I have a strong passion for breeding to improve, showing, and connecting with my heritage through animals.

My goal with this hobby hamstery is to improve temperament, quality, and longevity. I hope to be able to build my own consistent line through patience and detailed selection.

 

Individuals that exhibit a temperament, health conflict, or type that I would not be proud of are not to be bred. I intend to breed to the standards of the SHF (Svenska Hamsterföreningen).
